More about me…

I'm a Jesus loving wife of 18 years and a homeschooling mom to five amazing kids. So I truly understand both the joys and challenges of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. My family is my heart —we cherish our time together, whether we’re outdoors playing sports, exploring new trails, or cozying up indoors with warm drinks and a good book, or a funny movie. We’re so grateful to be part of a close-knit homeschool community and very involved in serving at our church. These everyday moments have only deepened my appreciation for the strength and beauty that motherhood brings.

As someone who has experienced a variety of birth settings myself—from medicated hospital births to unmedicated water births—I know how important it is to feel heard, supported, and confident in your choices. My passion is to come alongside you, offering calm, experienced support as you welcome your baby in the way that feels right for you. You’re not alone—I'm here to walk with you every step of the way.

My philosophy of birth

First and foremost, I believe every human life is sacred and holds value from the moment of conception. I believe each of us is intentionally created by God, with purpose and for a purpose. This belief shapes the way I view everything—
from women, to babies, to birth itself.

My hope is that every pregnant mama receives the highest quality of care and support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, because these experiences profoundly influence how we see motherhood and ourselves.

I believe all women deserve to be fully informed of their options and lovingly supported in whatever way they choose to give birth. I believe birth unfolds best when the body is trusted to do what it is designed to do, without unnecessary interventions. Women’s bodies are exquisitely created to grow, nourish, and bring forth life—often without the need for emergency medical care. Still, I deeply value the presence of supportive women who surround a mother with encouragement during labor.

This is why I became a doula: to advocate for mamas, to help ensure they have the information they need to make confident decisions, and to create an atmosphere where they feel safe, heard, cared for, and fully supported.

Birth—like motherhood—is both a privilege and a treasure. It should not be feared, but embraced as the beautiful gift that it truly is..
